    A Success Story: University of Bochum and the construction of solar Cars

    For more than a decade, students, staff and professors build the Bochum University of Applied Sciences vehicles running with the energy of the sun. A project that all facets of the engineering profession highlights: teamwork, project management, intercultural perspectives and last but not least the fascination of modern technology.

    Mad Dog, HansGo !, SolarWorld No.1, BOcruiser, SolarWorld GT, PowerCore Suncruiser and currently under construction at ThyssenKrupp SunRiser - so hot the sun chariot of the Bochum university Manufactory. Three persons can take place in the current vehicle from Bochum. The PowerCore Suncruiser comes with engines at the start, which were developed in cooperation with ThyssenKrupp. Electric band inside ensures high energy efficiency and bring the motor development in Bochum to a new level and stahlbus ensures optimal bleeded brake system.
